Even though this weekend was too chilly for all our planned outdoor fun (we attempted our doughnut picnic--lasted about four minutes, and then decided maybe we've jumped the gun a bit on the whole "spring is here" thing), there was one very bright spot.

We found a house!  

We actually looked at it over a month ago, and just couldn't forget it and last week the price dropped, so... we have been negotiating over the last week and we are officially under contract now.  We are so excited for our BIG renovation project!

(It is still in all of its 1927 vintage glory.) 

So I thought over the next few weeks I would share some of my favorite books, that are giving me lots of inspiration for this next home.  

This first one is called The White Home by Caroline Clifton-Mogg.  For those of you who love white and bright, this is a must have!
