a light and bright family room.

These two pictures from mi casa make my heart happy!  I am commissioning Andy to build one of those tinker-toy like objects for our coffee table.  I love it.  Even though ours really will be made from tinker-toys.

Other things I love: the assortment of mirrors and art stacked on and hanging above the white table.  Delightful.  The low-profile sofa--so smart for keeping the room nice and open.  The flowering branches in the glass cylinder.  Lovely.

I am feeling so much better this afternoon, so Andy and I went out to clip a few branches of our own, but the moment we stepped out it began down pouring.  He splashed around for a couple minutes, but then I had him come in.  We don't need anymore sickness around here!!  No thank you.

Now the rain has turned into a full-blown blizzard.  It is so pretty, and Andy and I are enjoying watching it, (as long as it ALL melts within the next couple days!)  

The rest of the kids have been at my parents house for the weekend (i sure do love my wonderful mom and dad), so it has been really quiet and I have got lots of rest.  Andy got a fever and tummy ache on Saturday morning, so he's been an only-child all weekend.  That's a special treat around here!
