another garland.

I got rid of most of my fabric stash when we moved, but there were a few that I just couldn't part with.  Right there at the top of my list was this dick and jane flannel. . . and finally it has been used!

If you've read my blog for more than five days, you probably know I am mildly obsessed with garlands.  Bird garlands, mitten garlands, word garlands.

So what better purpose could this adorable fabric serve, than . . . as part of a garland!

Originally it was intended to be a valentines day decoration, but that day came and went without it ever being assembled.  So next year it will serve its intended purpose, but for now it is our springtime garland. 

In other news: Tomorrow I am planting peas.  I hope I'm not too late.  And that it doesn't snow.  The wind is blowing hard tonight.


In most important news: today is my dad's birthday.  I sure do love him.
