family room colors.

 happy day--it's friday!  does that mean a little sleeping in tomorrow?   oh, i hope so!  ashlyn & cam have had early morning rehersals the last couple weeks and we've been having to get up while it's still dark.  pure torture, I tell you. 

but in the daylight hours, i've been getting our fabrics and colors finalized for the lower family room over the last few days and i think i've settled on: 

mustard + pale gray + peacock blue 

years ago i found a picture of a peacock blue velvet armchair and have been holding onto it for at least a couple years.  i've been trying to find something just like it forever, but that peacock blue velvet has been surprisingly hard to find.  so i was super excited when a few weeks ago i found some (which is what made up my mind right away on the color scheme.)
