winter memories.

Even though these cold, gray January days keep me longing for the spring sunshine, I am trying hard to embrace each season.  I have such a happy memory of marm throwing a snow picnic for us one year, complete with a snow table and snow packed benches!  I love that memory and thought maybe I should make a few with my kids too :)  So here's a little brainstorming I did today of a few ideas to do before all this snow melts.

take a winter walk at night during the next big snowstorm

build some fun snow creatures

sled down the big hill at Sugarhouse Park

outdoor ice skating at night at the Gallivan Center

a snowy kickball game in the park down the street

let the kids make paper snowflakes and clothespin them on a little ribbon above their bed
