garden prep.

My trusty little assistant and I prep our garden for some good summer eatin!  We got our peas and buttercup lettuce in a few weeks ago and it looks like we're a little behind schedule for the other things.

Here's my wish list from elle's much more complete planting schedule.

may 5:
summer squash (seedling)
beans (direct seed)

may 19:
cucumbers (seedling)
peppers (seedling)
tomatoes (seedling)

And boo.  Looks like I missed the BEET deadline (those babies were supposed to go in april 21).  I will be putting that at the top of my to do list tomorrow cause have you had a fresh roasted beet lately?  Yum.
