And do you want to know what makes the day even happier?
When your kids think your chores are the funnest thing in the world. Like so fun, you can actually use the chores as bribes. It is a rarity, to be sure. Which is why, once you have happened upon this anomaly, you should use it extensively for all sorts of fabulous results.
As in, Hi Cam, just wanted to let you know if you don't finish your math homework lickety-split, you won't be able to mow the lawn this afternoon.
Or.
Hey Cam, just want to be clear that if this room isn't spotless the next time I come up here, there will be no mowing the lawn this weekend.
You get the idea.
That was the fastest Cam had math homework finished in the last five months. . . Also, the first time I had seen the top of his nightstand in a good six weeks.
I am figuring this won't last for long (or will it? mowing the lawn does look pretty fun), so I am trying to squeeze all the mileage out of it I possibly can.
