my little local secret.

I love finding places that haven't been discovered yet, because you can always depend on them for finding the best things!  And today I feel like sharing my little local secret with all of you because I just found out they are having their grand opening this Saturday!  It is a little consignment shop called So Chic in North Salt Lake and I have found so many things there over the last month, including this charming little table.  It was a rustic red, but I loved all the details on those legs and it was the perfect size for this family room I have been working on.  So we had it repainted a creamy white, and just look at it now!   So perfect with those newly upholstered chairs!  (This is the room we did the giant wallpapered rectangle.  I will share some pictures soon...)  

I just love finding affordable little treasures!  So if you want to check it out, their grand opening is tomorrow and their address is 239 N. Highway 89 in North Salt Lake--they share a building with Barlow Upholstery.  It is not a very noticeable building or sign--you would never really know it was there unless you are really looking for it, so look close!!  It's on the west side of the street.  They are only open Thurs-Sat: hours 12-6.  I love supporting these smaller local businesses, the big chains are great and all, but I am always an advocate for buying local first!  Have a delightful weekend!
