a little bag in gray and yellow.

Ever since I made Ava her little ballerina bag, Ashlyn has been asking for a bag of her own, to use as a violin bag--which I have promised repeatedly to do for the last many months.  So a few weeks ago when my bi-monthly-annoyance-with-myself-over-not-completing-projects finally moved it to the top of my to do list, I rooted around in my fabric piles and came up with this.  All of her violin books fit perfectly and the 'a' is actually a little pocket sized just right for her chin rest.

Ashlyn at her last recital.  Gosh she is looking so grown up!  Good thing I take pictures of her violin bag with my awesome camera and use Jimmy's iphone for her recital pictures!  Such a good mom. (Her recital was during the Piper & Chloe Showcase and so I had to sneak away for an hour and of course didn't have my camera with me...)  And why didn't Jimmy bring it you ask?  Well.  He was quite busy getting Ava dressed in that stellar outfit she showed up in.  Unfortunately no pictures of that... or the hairdo that went with it.
