a little spring joy.

The other morning, Ava and I had a two hour window to get a few errands run.  The sun was shining and so we put on some spring clothes and headed to a few of our favorite stores.  

We admired the water fountains, Ava skipped to the music that was playing outside, we examined the bulbs starting to pop out of the ground.  I felt like dancing and singing (I was thinking something along the lines of the dancing scene from 500 Days of Summer.)

Oh it is so lovely to be outside after being cooped up all winter!

First on the list was anthropologie to buy that little knob we fancied.  Unfortunately they have not yet arrived to our store, so we found one with a little bird wearing a crown instead.  We also happened upon the happiest little cushions (for our kitchen stools) I ever did see.  And that my dear Jimmy (in answer to your question) is why we spent $82 at Anthropolgie.

Next we searched high and low for some jeans for Ashlyn and Cam.  It is so hard to find jeans that fit their slender little waists.  But eventually we did find some.

Today the skies are gray and the air is cold.  But nevermind, I know spring is just around the corner!
