mellow morning in the park.

 

Jimmy likes his birthdays nice and mellow, so on his special day we stopped at Tulie Bakery for a little stash of his favorite cinnamon rolls.  Then we took our delicious stash over to Memory Grove and went for a little morning hike.  

It was so wonderful to see signs of spring popping up here and there, and run around in the brisk air.

Ava Carmel kept her party hat on from sun-up to sun-down.

And after laughing at all the dogs zooming around in the park chasing squirrels, we decided we definitely want a dog.

But not until we are done with the house. 

One thing at a time people.  (People meaning four little munchkins who swear that nothing in the world sounds more fun than being on poop patrol for a pet puppy.)

Anyway, have I mentioned lately how much I love this boy.  Cause I do.
