for a little girl who loves dresses.
The other night Jimmy took all the kids to a movie, and left me all alone at home. Ahhhh. After marveling at the blissful quiet for a few minutes, I decided to finish up a few odds and ends in Ava's room. I sewed a pillow for the bed, and painted a birdcage and some little cupboard knobs for her toy cupboard, and hung these little tiny paper dresses I made a little while ago.
Wow. Did I really get all that done in just two hours?! Why yes I did. It is amazing what you can accomplish in an uninterrupted two hour stretch. :)
It seemed only right that we make a small nod to Ava's complete infatuation for "the dress" in her big girl bedroom. (Since, if she had her way, I think she would put a new one on every hour of the day.) I'm not sure how long she will love wearing dresses and other cute little outfits, so we are just going to run with it for now!
