the A is hung.

Oh how I love being able to cross things off lists!  Jimmy doesn't get the same kind of thrill that I do over this :) but he humored me and helped me hang many of the things that having been sitting propped against walls for the last several weeks.

The first was the letter a Andy made for Ashlyn.  Ashlyn and I decided it would be perfect in the girls bathroom, since A works for Ava and Ashlyn.  (And by the way, we didn't really try to name all our kids with A names.  In fact I have been known to be a slight mocker of this.  Just because when I met Jimmy, I was the only one in the entire clan--of nine--that didn't begin with a J, and let me tell you it was a mouthful!  I'm pretty good at it now though!  Jodi.Jim.Jeff.Jacob.Josh.James.Jonah.Jaden.  The last five are nephews.  Why am I writing all this?  I do not know.  It just worked out though that almost all of our favorite names began with A.  We tried desperately to think of a non-A with Ava, but our top two ended up being Ava and Annalise.  Not helpful.  Thank goodness we've got Cam to break it up!)

Anyway when Ashlyn excitedly showed Andy where we hung the A, he tried desperately to fight a huge grin, but he lost the battle and the grin broke through!  He was pretty pleased to see it on the wall!
