place settings for two.

Helping the kids with their handmade gifts for each other, was one of my favorite parts of Christmas this year. And I didn't have a chance to write about Cam and Ashlyn's yet, so get ready for the project overload that has, is and will be coming this way!

One of Cam's greatest qualities is his absolute enthusiasm for life. And working on Ava's present was no exception. He loves to create, whether it's building go-carts or airplanes from left over wood, building huge cardboard box complexes (one of the perks of having a furniture business), inventing new contraptions or (now) sewing something.

When Jimmy walked through the door that night, he came racing over "Dad! I learned how to sew! It is soooo fun!" I am just so curious to see what this boy will decide to do with his life. His teacher last year said, "Cam is one of those kids you want to keep track of, so that someday you can say, I taught that boy in the second grade!" Until then (well lets hope not quite until then), Ava and her baby dolls will be thoroughly enjoying these new place settings for all their impromptu picnics.
