once there was a snowman.

tall, tall, tall. In the sun he melted, melted, melted.

And his head fell off.

But never fear, Andy built a new head and added some new eyes. But when adding the new nose, the head fell off again. But little Andy was not deterred and put the head back on and one rock eye. However the other rock eye would not stick and our little snowman builder had a tiny meltdown out there in the snow.

But finally the other eye stuck, and then the mouth was added. But then that carrot nose just wouldn't stay stuck. And Andy tried and tried and pushed so hard that the head fell off again. And then there was another slightly bigger meltdown. But try try again he did. And finished that little snowman.

And as I watched this all through the kitchen window, I was so very pleased that this little snowman builder did not give up.
