so whacha gonna be for halloween?

Here's our costume stats as of today (I've deemed today the final day for halloween costume choosing in our house). Ashlyn will be an egyptian girl (she currently is in deliberations between just a plain egyptian girl or an egyptian princess). Cam will be an explorer:

Only our version will be considerably warmer--even though he did inform me today that his feet were always warm--and even if he were wearing no shoes and just had barefeet in the snow they would only be a tiny bit cold.

Andy is intent on being an owl. I'm still trying to figure this one out. Any ideas? Originally Ava and Andy were going to be little owls together. But whenever anyone asks Ava what she's going to be for Halloween, she says "pincess" with such enthusiasm, that I am totally on board. After all, I do believe that a princess costume was my choice every. single. year. I just felt so beautiful. . . and I got to wear my nightgown to school. (The nightgown was my princess dress. Just in case you didn't instinctively know that.) So, wouldn't it be so cool if Ava was the lucky recipient of that beautiful southern belle costume, shown above. It will be given away to someone who links to this grosgrain post. And now the deed is done.

Oh and that costume choosing deadline doesn't apply to me and Jimmy. We decide, at the very earliest, October 30th. But more typically October 31st. It's just tradition now. But we will be costumed. Oh yea, you better believe it.
