oh so crafty birthday banner

People always ask how I come up with my ideas. The truth is I rarely come up with my OWN ideas. I get so inspired by others creativity and do their thing with my own little twist. I saw this birthday banner on a blog somewhere and thought the paper plate idea was pretty genius.

So I got out my scissors and pencil and cute paper and spent a couple of hours with HGTV making my own birthday banner. I plan on using this for many more birthdays to come so I used colors that work for boys and girls and I'm having the letters laminated. I'm pretty sure there aren't many out there that share my pure giddiness over kindergarten crafts so I won't bore you with all the instructions but it was SO FUN. Are you shaking your head at me?
