We made these yummy cupcakes to celebrate july and america and independence. We are all for independence around here. Here's how to get some of your own (cupcakes, that is. if you you want lessons on independence, go get yourself a two-year old): cherry chip cake mix + some white frosting + a little almond extract + blue or red sprinkles + a sparkler.

So, here's to a happy birthday america. We love you. May you have a bright future filled with fewer idiotic politicians. Amen.
