Reality Check
For those of you who thought I was wonder woman because of birthday parties and teach me mommy schools and such, I have really enjoyed the attention. But it's time for me to come back down to earth, and sadly I feel I must bring you along. Things were already a little neglected before we all got sick, but have since spiraled into a state of TOTAL disarray. This morning I finally felt a little better (thanks to some blessed antibiotics) and ventured out to take stock of the wreckage:

Not one room was left untouched. There were at least two rolls of used up toilet paper (uh, used up on our runny noses, that is) in every main living space, bedroom and bathroom. I wanted to climb back under the covers and hide until disaster clean-up services arrived. But I didn't. At least for most of the day. And so begins project clean-up. Wish me luck . . . I'm afraid I may be gone awhile.
