project pretty pail

I have been seeing these adorable pails all over the place, and of course I want to try it. I know. I have SERIOUS project A.D.D. I am the jack of all trades and the master of none (or however the saying goes.) I just ate six--yes, six and don't you widen your eyeballs at me--oatmeal chocolate chip cookies in less than that many minutes. Don't know why I felt like I had to throw that one in, but there you have it.

And, back to the point. The top ones are from pottery barn kids. These bottom ones, I saw on a room somewhere (I think) a few months ago. They were made by using pages from childrens storybooks, decoupaged on. As of yet, I have never actually used decoupage, but everyone in my family has--except I think probably my dad, but I know he would be supportive of any decoupaging I would do, as he is with everything from big to small. (I love you dad. I'm so happy you read my blog.) Anyway, I would like to use some of that cute scrap booking paper I've got lurking in my art room for this project. But I will not, I VOW, buy any supplies for this project until project kimono is complete. But you can.
