one last look.

Piper & Chloe was so fun this year!  We really do love playing shopkeeper.  It was kind of fun doing something different this time with the big open space we had.  My favorite feature was the paper covered wall.  It was gorgeous!  I think it's a great idea for a feature wall in a kids bedroom--I'm planning on doing the same thing in our downstairs powder bathroom, since it's sporting some pretty hideous wallpaper right now.  (And since that bathroom is part of Phase 2 of our renovation project, it will be awhile before we get to it.)

Jimmy and I think about opening our own shop one day, but I just don't know if it would be as fun without doing it with all my sisters and mom.  And besides, I don't know if I would want to be so committed to something all the time.  I talk to local shop owners, and so many of them aren't thrilled with the day to day hassle of running a full time shop.  The Piper & Chloe Showcases are great because we work on it for a couple months, open for two days, and then don't think about it again for awhile.

And since we had such a great time, I don't think we will be taking a two-year break again.  We have already tentatively scheduled our autumn holiday show for November 9 & 10!  But Cristelle & Elle will both have newborn babies then, so we'll have to see how they really feel about it when it gets closer. :)
