dear sunshine.

We'll be seeing you soon.  Although I am loving the gray, foggy skies this week, as we get ready for Christmas. (I do love cozy weather.)  But come December 26th, I know I will be longing for a little sunshine.  Especially since this year we are living in such cramped quarters AND as luck would have it, this is the one year the kids school break lasts for nearly three weeks! 

Yep, that is a recipe for disaster.

So, we just booked a week in Palm Springs for a little sunshine and open space the day after Christmas. . . I do believe it is the warmest destination that can be found within 12 hours!

And when we get back, it will only be ONE more month until we can move to our "new" house!  The kids have a chain to count down the days to Christmas.  I have one to count down the days until we move.
