happy holiday commotion.

We had such a happy Christmas, and hope you all did too!  There is always lots of commotion when all the kids are home from school, but we have definitely been having lots of FUN!  Making little gifts for each other, baking cookies, visiting the elves at Gardner Village, decorating the condo for Santa Claus, and lots of Christmas movies.

I'm always a little sad when this magical month comes to an end, but by December 30th I inevitably start looking forward to a new year beginning.  I am getting that little twinge of excitement to start filling in my new 2012 calendar :).

So we are finishing 2011 out relaxing in the warm sunshine in Palm Springs.  It was a horrendous road trip down--oh non-stop 3-hour traffic jam coming out of Vegas, I do not like you.  Especially at 11'o clock at night.  But 75 degree weather feels divine!
