feeling better.

. . . thanks to a few naps and some good old fashioned loafing around . . . and I'm not gonna lie, the yellow flats I bought today helped brighten my mood considerably.

So with my happier mood, I decided to tackle the woodland party pictures. The bad thing about digital cameras is that the number of pictures you can take is so endless. Why not take a picture of that mushroom from every imaginable angle? After all, I've still got 427 pictures left. . .

There was something to be said about a 24 roll of film.

{there was some discussion as to whether or not it was sanitary to serve cupcakes on pine boughs. i thought yes. some thought no. so we served on napkins and pine boughs. something for everyone :}

{you may not be able to tell from this picture, but ty spent quite a bit of time trying to eat the clear balloons we had tied about. . . they were delicious.}

It was quite a delightful afternoon in our little magical woodland. Even though my sisters' husbands thought we were cuckoo for planning such a big party for little babies that won't ever remember. blah. blah. blah. Clearly they do not realize that it is precisely for events such as these that digital cameras were invented.

p.s. and thanks for the nice comments. they made me feel a lot less guilty about all of my loafing :)
