red light green light
TEACH ME MOMMY RUNDOWN:
• found shapes in the room (circles on clock face, squares=throw pillows, rectangles in french door glass, etc.)
• did some shape puzzles (had him find the square. . . now find rectangle and so on)
• read a random story book and found the different shapes on the pages (eyes were circles, teeth were triangles)
• made stoplight from rectangle and circles and little bits of paper. taught him how to properly "dab" glue--very important preschool skill
• played red light, green light (he LOVED this and we played no less than ten times)--switch holding up red, yellow or green squares. They stop, go slow or go fast according to color
• ate a circle (ritz crackers) and square (cheese) snack
