it's time

Back to school preparations have begun in earnest around here. Starting with this cute alarm clock Cam picked out for himself from Target. Having to wake Cam up for school last year was so incredibly painful for the entire household that I'm hoping mr. frog here will make it more enticing. And I've realized over the summer that my dear boy needs at least a full eleven hours of sleep. So this week we begin going to bed at a decent hour to facilitate a new and much earlier wake up time.

So anyway, I thought I'd share some of my new (and old) favorite back to school sources. 1. Aldo shoes, in some very select locations carries children's shoes. cute childrens shoes. so cute.

2. Target how I love thee. Currently kids crafting supplies on sale. A 24 count box of crayons is $0.17. Wow, that's a good deal. So I stocked up. These make good birthday present toppers too.

3. crazy 8--this is a branch off of Gymboree, but with lower prices and a little more hip styles, especially for boys and older girls
4. I want to have a special back to school soiree such as the one seen at the inspiring nienie dialouges. Complete with a delicious meal and dessert, a fashion show by the kids sporting their new fall wardrobe and ending with father's blessings.
