Here are some love signs I meant to share with you right on February 1st--aren't they the perfect pieces of 'happy february' art?! (The french one says, "If you knew how much I loved you, you'd faint." Or something like that.)
But February 1st came and went, and I guess I was all sidetracked with piper & chloe, and with all the a-maze-ing pity parties I've been throwing for myself.
But I'm doing a little better, and thank you for being so sweet and kind, and not telling me that sometimes I act like such a spoiled brat. Because after thinking about it with a clear head, I am so thankful that the worst thing in my life right now is not being able to move into our house. It's a bummer, but really? Not the end of the world.
So anyway, happy february all. I hope you are having fun making valentines, or at the very least enjoying some conversation hearts. I think I might make this 'every day i love you' sign for jimmy.
Oh he's just gonna die--he'll be so excited. Just kidding. I can think of a few other things he may get much more excited about. But still, I might make it to hang in our future mudroom...
We will most likely be staying with my parents this Valentine's Day, and I'll tell you what. . . I'm looking forward to having a big kitchen to make some sugar cookies in! And then, of course, eating them won't be too shabby either. (I make really good sugar cookies. The secret is adding almond extract to the frosting...)
