a few highlights.

Howdy friends!  Here are a few highlights (and one low light) of our weekend:

1.  Jimmy and I went on a little date, and I got a few of these cute hooks for Andy's future bedroom.  They had some really cute elephant ones in the store that I got too.  I can't wait to put them up.  And have I mentioned how I can't wait for the day when not all four of our kids are sleeping in the same room?!


2.  It finally snowed!  The boys spent hours making snow igloo forts with these awesome snow brickers Santa left.  Here are some that are almost identical to ours. 


 3.  Two of my dearest friends had babies!  Carrie & Sean had their adorable little girl last night a mere 11 minutes after arriving to the hospital.  Holy freak. 

That's what I would have been doing when I realized there was no epidural in store. 

And remember Larissa & Scott?  They are the most excited, most happy parents, to a beautiful newborn baby girl.  I can't even tell you how happy I am for them. 


 4.  And in much less delightful news, we've had a little round of the stomach flu going on around here this weekend.  Ava Carmel is on the mend (tonight she announced: "Well. I'm better. My poop isn't sloppy anymore.") 

Good to know Ava.  Good to know. 

But poor Andy is just beginning.  Fingers crossed it doesn't pass through everyone...
