five things and a red bed.
Things to be happy about today:
1. the sun shining in the blue sky (even it is frigid out there), which brings me to...
2. a cozy fire in the fireplace
3. i have two boxes of bright red and bright green gumballs that i will be packaging in little bags for bijou market (seeing their bright colors in those crisp cellophane bags looks so festive.) It is kind of funny how excited I get about doing these little kinds of projects--they are just so pretty and colorful and give me a ridiculous amount of satisfaction!
4. jimmy is going in to work late today, so after we drop ava off to school we are going to walk around Gateway--maybe stop by Anthropologie for two hooks that will work as towel hooks, and start on some Christmas shopping.
5. there are officially ZERO boxes/bins left to unpack
Now isn't this bedroom pictured above the perfect picture of simplicity? I have been helping a friend with her daughter's room, and this is the inspiration picture. This bed has arrived from land of nod, and she's considering painting it this delightful shade of red. It reminds me of my gumballs. And I love it.
