a summery photo shoot.

 

During the two funnest weeks of the summer (which just happened to perfectly coincide with Ashley being in town), we had our family pictures taken (by that aforementioned sister).  She is amazing!!  And a total inspiration about taking something you love and becoming incredible at it.   

We are so happy with our pictures!  We debated about whether we should go to the Salt Flats for the shoot (where she did Elle's family pics), but in the end we decided we wanted more of an urban feel, since we just have moved back near downtown. . .

Speaking of which, we are in a bit of a quandary about what to do with that "new" house of ours.  The bids are coming back and they are above and beyond what we would like to spend.  

Do we scale back our plans?  Do we sell it and look for a home that requires less work?  

But it's on my very favorite street in the whole wide world.  And what are the chances of finding another one right there (in a somewhat timely manner)--I am getting anxious to get my hands on our next home!
