happy february.

This weekend was one of those bummer weekends. I had big plans (for Jimmy) to get our newly constructed lockers painted, and also to finish up a few other home improvement projects.  But alas other things were in store, and I had another cyst rupture.  I am hoping this isn't going to become a frequent occurrence because those suckers are not fun.  At least this time it was just a regular sort of one and not all entangled with a blood vessel (thank goodness no passing out this time around), but I'm still feeling a little tender and out of sorts.  

The one thing I did manage to accomplish before all this happened was making a little valentine's wreath.  It brings me all kinds of smiles because not only do I have a festive wreath on my front door now, but equally exciting is: I bought the supplies for the wreath at 8:45 p.m. and the wreath was finished by 10:00 p.m. 

Oh yes my friends, you read that right.  So number one, it was super easy, and number two I actually completed a project within hours of buying the supplies.  I hope you are all duly impressed because this is huge for me, and is one of my biggest endeavors of the new year.  No more crafting supply hoarder here. 

And, doesn't it just bring joy to your soul knowing that by the end of this month, little crocus will be popping out of the ground?!
