breathing easy.
Wow. What a week. I am so exhausted I think I could sleep two days straight. When we got home from youth conference Saturday afternoon, Jimmy and I immediately zonked out for two hours. While we snoozed, Cam set up a little lemonade stand with his trusty sidekicks Ava and Andy. They had a few signs hung around the yard and went ahead and helped themselves to the strawberry lemonade mix, some plastic cups and a pencil. (what was the pencil for you ask? why, for stirring the lemonade, of course.) Yes, it appears as though it was one of those lemonade stands you are a little grossed out to buy from. But Cam is intent on earning money to buy a solar powered go cart and now he is 75 cents closer. Good job, my boy.
So, we managed to have the showroom ready for opening on Wednesday, after way too many 15 hour days. Oh I can't even tell you how happy I am that project is complete! Then on Thursday Jimmy and I left for the next three days for youth conference. (See why we had to have the showroom open by Wednesday?!) I will tell you all about youth conference another day because it was a wonderful experience, but for today I will leave you with some pictures of the completed showroom.
It sure felt great to finally remove those plastic window coverings!
Ashlyn's job (besides being my number one babysitter) was to fill all the frames with patterned paper. She did it all superbly. So happy my first was a girl.
If you are local to the Salt Lake area and want to visit the new showroom for DS Furniture, it is officially OPEN! Located in the South Towne Mall (off the 106th exit) on the 2nd floor, near Macy's. And feel free to spread the word :)
