apples and abc's.

A few days before school began a cute little invitation was dropped off to Andy. The invitation was a piece of cardstock that said "celebrate the first day of school. . . " with all the party details printed on and a brand new pencil attached.

Andy was super super excited (the first day of school AND a party WITH cupcakes at one of his best little buddies house!!! It's a lot of excitement for a five year old to contain.) I took lots of pictures of the cute little shindig, but most all of them have neighborhood kids in them and I don't know how their mom's feel about internet privacy. So instead, I will share the pictures of the cupcakes I brought and I will say, they kind of make me laugh because 1. the apple kind of looks more like a pork chop and 2. I realized after I had printed out all the abc's that I had used the same font as abc (the TV network). Nothing says back to school like primetime and pork chops eh?!
