squeezing in one more tinesy trip.

The summer flew by a little too fast for me this year. . . Usually at this time I am having autumn cravings in earnest, and I'm just not quite there yet. I'm still wishing we had a few more weeks to sleep in, go to bed late, and lay by the pool while I listen to the kid's serious conversations about catching a baby tiger shark (which may be a pair of goggles or a rock--depending on if it's Andy or Cam doing the catching) while trying to track down some allergy (apparently they think algae is pronounced allergy) to feed to it.

We have perfected underwater back flips, lost two teeth, built forts, read lots of books, visited a big city, visited a tiny town, said some good-byes, saw a good outdoor concert (the Fray & Jacks Mannequin), lived on a strict budget, hiked a mountain, ate lots of fish tacos, roasted quite a few marshmellows, and almost got struck by lightning (well it felt like it anyway.)
