oh delight.

This morning to the children's delight, I announced it was going to be the workshop store. Oh joy! Oh delight! The boys cleaned their disaster-of-a-bedroom in record time (since it had to be clean before we could begin.) I love how excited they get over spending their dots. Oh how I wish I would always be able to influence their behavior so effectively with a paper dot! Since she doesn't really do workshop, Ava helped me set our little store all up, thereby earning herself some dots too.

To try to minimize chaos and conflict:), I have one child buy at a time, and at each workshop store we rotate who gets to go first. So today Ava went first and bought one thing (surprise! a reeses peanut butter cup--her sweet tooth rivals even mine), then Andy bought one thing and so on until they had each bought one thing. And then Ava gets to go again and then Andy and on and on, until they are all finished spending their dots.
