on tap this week.

even though we are away this week (we spent a delightful evening in central park tonight!), we still do have a little work set up on the house. . .

on tap this week for the house renovation:

lay tile floor in downstairs bathroom 

(1"x2" marble tiles laid in a herringbone pattern.  very excited about this floor!)

finish prep & priming for paint downstairs 

(didn't get finished last week. boo.)

cut out new dining room french doors

 (i am so happy i wasn't at home for this--cutting through two layers of brick is a LOUD, messy job!)

i think it may be time to start posting some before and afters now.  the final pretty details are not in place, but when i see the progress that's been made over the last few months, it makes my heart very happy!
