Our number one favorite discovery this summer was the water walkways in the middle of Liberty Park.  A few weeks ago my cousin and sister where in town and we met here for a delightful afternoon of splashing in the water (kids) and relaxing and chatting in the shade of the giant trees (moms).

It is in places like these that I really wish I could be a kid again.  It looked like so much fun splashing through all the walkways, floating leafs and sticks down the little streams and under the tiny bridges.

Here Cam demonstrates pure summer bliss at the splash park.

My little niece Brynn in super serious concentration as she holds perfect form. She was cracking me up with this.  She didn't know anyone was watching her and just kept holding this pose for as long as she could.  Don't you wish you could read their minds?!

I love Liberty Park.  If you are ever in Salt Lake City, it is definitely worth strolling through.  There are towering trees everywhere, so it's nice and cool even in the mid summer heat.  There is a huge pond and an aviary, a splash park, these fun little water walkways, a carousel, and lots of outdoor ovens for roasting marshmellows and hotdogs, trails for running and biking and pushing strollers.  And it's so big that all of these are nicely separated from each other with grass, so it never feels very crowded.  On lots of summer evenings there are summer concerts outside.

Oh, I don't want summer to end!
