april showers bring may flowers.
It is a drizzly rainy day, perfect for making those pretty spring flowers grow (and vegetables too--we planted our spinach seeds a few days ago and hopefully we aren't too late!) And every year I think about delivering little flowers on May Day like those above--wouldn't you love a little bouquet in some newsprint (or some other vintage inspired printed paper)?
This weather is also just what I need for making sure I finish up my projects for Piper & Chloe! Which by the way, if you are planning on stopping by the showcase next Friday or Saturday, there is a $20 gift certificate up for grabs if you leave a comment here, so hop on over there!) So today I will be staying cozy inside sewing the rest of my garlands, painting a few more ballerina cupcake toppers and putting together a few sets of retro printed hair pins. Oh and figuring out how to display all my little bags of gumballs--maybe pinning them to a bulletin board?
Have a lovely, lovely spring day!
