good morning birds.

 

I've had these birds flying around my head since I made that bird garland for my christmas tree last december.  So I decided to get them out of my head and make a few for the upcoming piper & chloe showcase.  They take a little while to make since I hand cut each bird, but it's a fun little project to work on while I'm watching Community or Parks & Rec--occasionally they end up with a missing beak, but that is the price for good entertainment!

We strung some above Ava's bed, which we have begun calling her "nest" to entice her to stay there-- along with feeding her little "seeds" and "worms" (aka cheerios and the occasional jellybean)--for staying put.
