Pull Up a Chair
I spent a couple hours the other night browsing istock, looking for some images for our soon-to-be launched children's furniture website . . . and it got me all antsy to change the header on my blog. And also got me wondering, what if you bought an image, or two or more, and framed them? How would that look. I wonder. It would be an economical way to do smaller pieces of art. (Not necessarily these ones--I'm just giving you a flavor of what's there.)
So anyway I've been browsing it again tonight while listening to Ava's wailing (she unfortunately has amazing stamina, but by golly she is going to cry it out tonight) and Andrew's muttering (think Milton of Office Space)--apparently no one can settle down in anticipation of our vacation tomorrow.
We ended up using one from this artist on the website. If you go there and find one you like, be sure to click on artist portfolio and there will usually be a lot of similar ones.Oh I can't take it anymore. The crying. Should I go in? Yes. No. Yes. Yes. No. Alright just for a minute, and I won't pick her up.

great images. now why is ava crying in the night. I'm beginning to think you are a major night owl. yes. yes? no? where are you guys going for vacation?
ReplyDeletethese are really cool pictures...i like them alot!! Did you pick her up? Have fun on your trip...i'll miss you...
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment. That might be the funnest part of blogging! My friend pretty much set it up for me, so no worries I am a moron too!!
ReplyDeleteI love the green bird one! Have you seen the vinyl images you can get now? It started with words that you could put on your walls, and now I am seeing monochromatic silhoutte images. I am guessing it won't be long till multicolor images are available.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the birds! Have you seen the Penelope bedding at Pottery Barn Kids? I am seriously THIS close to ordering it. I don't care if my girls like birds or not. If I gave them a choice, their room would end up looking like Sleeping Beauty threw up in it. No, thanks.
