a little recap.

a brief recap of the last two weeks...

i finished the design plan for a project i've been working on for the last month.  pictured are some of the fabrics we are using.  plus a weathered wood floor and a chalkboard wall.  i'm pretty excited about it!

our main contractor almost cut his arm off while replacing an old window.  holy smokes it was terrifying.  but he is okay (and still has his arm.)  thank the heavens above.

it finally rained, but not until after that camping trip (mentioned in the last post) was cancelled--due to our reserved camp site being closed because of a wildfire, ironically enough.

after the aforementioned rain, cam & andy caught 117(!) snails in a little patch of vines next to the house. . .  and that explains why our hostas are looking so shabby.

and most importantly, we celebrated our sweet ava carmel & cam's birthdays.  i love those kiddos.

hopefully i will be back to more regular updates in the near future.

and now i'm off to plan a madeline party.  (so sad, the dollhouse party was a no go.)
