a happy halloween weekend
We've got lots of fun Halloween plans this weekend. Haunted house at the mortuary (mwah hah hah hah), costume party for grown-ups (yay!) at Eggs in the City, and some sugar cookie making are all in the works. The next two months are my very favorite: so full of fun and coziness.
I was looking through some old pictures and found this one from a party a couple years ago. I had forgotten about this easy Halloween centerpiece; a pile of fall leaves from outside, a white tin bin (black would be even better), some poisonous ripe red apples, and a few floating candles. And aren't those white chocolate ghost lollipops Elle made delightful?
Ashlyn and Ava Carmel are feeling under the weather today, so I am happy to be stuck at home for a few hours. I think I will try to get our bathrooms organized. All the cupboards and drawers are still empty, and the floors are stacked with plastic bins full of shampoo and toilet paper. I've got a few bruises on my shins and made a few angry noises, while trying to navigate around them all in the middle of the night.
