He Was A Good Man. . .

The kids were sent outside to busy themselves yesterday afternoon so Jim and myself and little Ava could have a nice Sunday nap. And busy they were . . . creating an entire little leprechaun village, in hopes of catching one of those mischievous little creatures. This is a monument, perched in the center of their little compound, in honor of the "good man" Saint Patrick.

Just in case you can't read it, it says:
Patrick a Saint who was captured at age 15 and later became a priest of a church. This is a statue of him, his wife and children. He was a good man.

Jim and I were (secretly) dying of laughter. Where do they came up with these things?

Thankfully, it looks as though a few leprechauns stopped by the compound last night, because there are little gold trails of glitter everywhere. Very mysterious.
