Space-Saving, Back-Saving Dollhouse
The problem with doll houses is they are too cumbersome. It's hard to see inside of them and get all the furniture arranged without laying down on the floor. Besides they take up a hefty amount of space.So what if you just had a floor plan like this. I think we all can agree the funnest part of the whole doll house thing is setting it up, and this would make it so much more enjoyable. No more strained back muscles.
I'm thinking of making it for Ashlyn's birthday. Doesn't it look fun? (Playing with it I mean. Not making it.) Instructions here.
Let me know how hard the dollhouse is. Lily would love something like that, it is so cute. I hope you feel good about your decision about just leaving things as they are, you can always change your mind and go private!

ReplyDeleteSo this isn't about the doll house, although it is darling. But do you have other "Teach Me Mommy" ideas. I just started doing it with Adallyn and I really enjoy it especially because it's "our" time. Thought I'd check.
ReplyDeleteI love this idea. I used to make "open houses" out of legos with beds and everything. this also looks fun for boys (shown on the website) the little neighborhood and road. way cute ideas. annalisa made a cute road/neighborhood for dave for christmas when he was little. he loved it.
