Time Saver

I have a dilemma. I have never outgrown my love of sleeping in (which sadly, I now define as anything past 7:45). But I have five people (Jim pretty much handles himself) that need to be fed, dressed, combed and in their seats by 9:00 each Sunday morning. (By 8:45 if we want a soft seat, but I'll take a soft pillow for 15 minutes longer and endure those metal folding chairs).
Some would say, "what is the dilemma? You have a good hour to get the deed done." True. But week after week I spend WAY too many minutes trying to decide and track down my Sunday attire. One of the problems is this: too many layers to match. You have your camisole that goes under the deep V of your shirt and the jacket that goes over the too-tiny-of-a-cap sleeve. And then the skirt. To cover myself sufficiently is difficult enough, but then to make sure it all matches and is clean simultaneously is really enough to drive a woman mad.
And I usually am by the time we get out the door. But as I was blogs-dropping the other night I came across a perfectly adorable solution. A site all about dresses that are a Sunday outfit in it's entirety. I promptly ordered this one and another.
Just imagine the time I will save. . . but that presents another dilemma, should I sleep in ten minutes more or take the soft seat?

that's funny. I got this same dress for xmas and love it. The designer is a friend of ours.
ReplyDeleteTiffany, you are so funny! I also love sleeping in. Lucky for me, my hubby helps get the kids dressed so I have a little extra time to curl my hair (oh, the maintenance of femininity!) Of course I will take your kid's pics this summer! They are gorgeous! (your kids, I mean)
